Joseph Feinberg

Joe began his investment career in the 5th grade. In 1974, he had hands on experience in the markets and with estate planning. In 1993, Joe joined Dean Witter as a Wealth Advisor and established himself as an Executive Director, Portfolio Managing Director with Morgan Stanley. As CEO of The Feinberg Group (founded in 1998, operating within Morgan Stanley) Joe oversaw and coordinated the financial affairs for a select group of institutions, businesses, high net worth individuals and their families. Joe also acts as the Vice President of the Joseph & Bessie Feinberg Foundation. At the end of 2015, Joe and his partner, Tamara Stein, decided to leave Morgan Stanley to join Hightower.
Within the team, Joe focuses primarily on corporate reserve accounts and non-profit investing for the benefit of others. He is often found on the same side of the table as his clients, looking into their businesses or organizations, helping them develop innovative strategies for the benefit of all. As director and trustee of The Joseph and Bessie Feinberg Foundation, founded in 1968 by his father and three brothers in honor of his grandparents, Joe is and has been a loyal and generous supporter of many charities, both as a philanthropist and serving on the numerous boards as a financial professional. By furthering the philanthropic presence of his family’s foundation, Joe has gained invaluable experience working in the non-profit environment and the financial industry.
Joe holds the General Securities Sales Supervisor Examination (Series 8), National Commodity Futures Examination (Series 3), General Securities Representative Examination (Series 7), Uniform Securities Agent State Law Examination (Series 63), Uniform Investment Advisor Law Examination (Series 65), Life and Variable Insurance Exams and Professional Certifications in: Professional Investment Management, Addressing Your Fiduciary Responsibilities, Asset Allocation Concepts, Structured Investments, Single Inverse ETF Trading, Money Laundering - How to Detect, Prevent and Report, 401k, 403b, and other Retirement Planning.
